Review of Economic Laws

Work under the Programme is at its initial stages. An Overview Paper on the status of insolvency Laws in Malawi was developed in June, 2002.

The core mandate of the Commission is to review all laws having a direct impact on foreign direct and portfolio investment with a view to create an environment that will encourage, support and protect legal private entrepreneurship and one which is transparent and Non-Discriminatory between local and foreign investment.
